A recent thread on here , talked about a car diving all over the road on undulating surfaces , and there was much discussion about , diffs and torque steer and the rest .

I recently changed my CWP from a 4.4 to a 4.8 and the darting around that it used to do "seemed " to be worsened with the new CWP.

Playing around with various toe settings , has transformed the way my car handles.

I eventually went for 1mm a side toe out on the front , and on Saturday night , even in 1st and 2nd the car always pulled straight over Staffordshire's and Cheshire's finest roads

Just my observations , and i'm not saying they will work for you , but its worth having a play and finding out .

My car in now running a 4.8 and plated Tran X diff with 160 bhp to play with for reference .

should be the opposite way round you should have 1mm toe in each side ideally probably scrub the tyres out really fast espeically with that much power running through them

might be wrong but I think a mate said years ago he set his hill climb mini up toe out. The theory being that when you drive it hard the torque reaction pulls the wheels into the parallel.

Yep, been through this before with one of my lecturers, differences on RWD/FWD obviously and only on bushed cars too. If only I could remember what was said.

Prior to this I have always run mine with a little toe in or parrallel . The way the car handled was amazing . I will set it this way every time from now on .

I run a fair bit of toe out, it can make it wandery on the road but on track it pulls dead straight and has much better initial turn in

really? I thought toe in would quicken up initial turn in as the wheel is already turned so to speak..
