1.9 Gti Brake Bleed Nipples

Recommended Posts

JimLad

Having problems bleeding my brakes and the nipples are getting really gnarled up.

Can someone confirm that the front calipers are M8x1.5 and the rears are M7x1? Does anyone know the Peugeot part numbers?

I did find a related thread but it just confused me!

Thanks

I can confirm that the rears are M7 x 1. When I snapped mine, I bought some stainless steel nipples off eBay which are much stronger than the standard brass ones.

I'm sure that on the two sets of 1.9 Girling calipers I've got they are also M7 x 1mm.

Pug part number is 4428 44 afaik.

Graham.
