205/309 Drive Shaft Differences And En24 Uprated Shafts

I was looking over my collection of shafts. A few Questions.

Are the NS and OS outer shafts the same? I know the 205 aned 309 are different lengths, but will the shaft fit either side, ie 205 both be the same and 309 both be the same? Does anyone know the shaft lengths for 205 and 309. I have some overall shaft lengths for a 309 somewhere, but wouldn't mind the lengths of the shafts themselves

My car supposedly has EN24 shafts in it, how do I tell? The std ones have lots of little 'features' in them, groves for the boots etc but i have some others that are just plain diameter most of the way along.

Yes, striped some down the other week for powder coating and there both the same length.
