Caliper Bolts

As per my other thread I'm going from a 283mm Autofive big brake kit on the front, to standard 247mm discs and decent pads on Saturday hopefully.

 

But my mate who's gonna help us mentioned the caliper bolts in there now are longer for the spacers on the kit.

 

Now could I simply cut them down with a hacksaw or should I buy new ones? If so where from, or has anyone on here some spares in good nick?
