Gazza 67 0 Posted September 1, 2009 Got a strange knocking coming from the front end when decelerating, with no brakes applied. Seems to be from one side only-passenger. Changed the rack (Power Steering fitted this weekend-knocked before changing the rack), new drop links, new TRE's. No loose feeling to the steering or the floating feeling with the bottom arms. No knocking when turning right or left slowly on full lock. Any ideas where to go next or what to check?? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

lagonda 41 Posted September 4, 2009 I'd also check that the lower suspension arm ball joint pinch bolt in the hub housing is tight....or that the housing for the pin isn't so worn/ovalled that the pin rocks even though the bolt is tight. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
