Rear Axle Mounts.

On my old rally car i just had a peice of alloy with a hole in at and a bolt straight though, iv be looking at baker bushes and mounts GrpA rear axle mount kit and the two rear axle bushes have offset pins, are these better then just having a hole thought the lot? if i remember right you have to lever the legs over on the axle for the bolt to go though.

Thats why they now make the updated ones with offset pins,to stop you having to lever the mount brackets over

 

So they sit in the orig place then

Are you talking about the 1.6 205 gti rear axle ?

 

Or were the old baker Gp A bushes off-set ?

1.9gti axle,Thought thay were the same?
