Vtr Engine

Hey all i have a 205 1.4xr and i want to put a saxo vtr engine into it.

Can i use the bottom end of the vtr and use the xs head and carb?

If so what else do i need to change?

I dont see why you would want to do that.Just drop the whole VTR engine in and run it on twin webbers if you are going down carb route. You would have compression issues and XS head is not as good as VTR head.

A straight swap with the VTR lump would go quite well, 5bhp more than the XS but with quite a bit more torque throughout the revs to boot.
