406 Master Cylinder For 205 With 6 Brakes

I've had a quick search through but just want this info, i need a 406 m/c for my 205 with 6 brakes.

 

1. is it a 406 m/c NON ABS? (reason being non-abs because it has 4 outlets of m/c?)

2. Do i need to adjust the push rod thing in the servo before fitting?

3. will the 205 resivor fit the 406 m/c or will i need a 406 one!! lol

lol, problem as people have said before with search is that if you ask basic question like the one i have about brakes, you get very in depth answer instead of what you did which is straight forward!!! lol

I have the said item your after. And it's only done one trackday. I've changed to a compbrake pedalbox so this is spare. Pm me if you want it.

I didn't need to adjust the travel. Also it's better to use the 406 reservoir as it fits on the M/C with a slide pin whereas the 205 one is old and is just held in with the force of the seals. If you can't find one my local breakers had one, I may be heading up there soon so let me know and I can get it for you, complete with reservoir.

I disagree. When i changed the reservoir over the force required to put it into the seals was crazy. it took all my strength and that was with a bit of oil smeared on the seal. that reservoir will never come out of that seal in a month of sundays.

P.S i didn't need to adjust the travel either it was spot on...
