Stop Light - Mot Fail?

Recommended Posts

madspikes

Trying to get the pug ready for an MOT on tuesday, and working my way through a number of issues, one of such issues is the STOP light. The stop light and the coolant warning light both come on, no matter what I do, the lights will not go out. My question is this lightly to cause an MOT fail? If its not I'm not too worried about it for the moment, however if it will then I best fix it!

mad. :D

looks like you have a Phase 2? faults with them are fairly common I think, can;t remember if that will bring the stop light on.

the level-sensor often gets stuck because of bad coolant mixture. disconnect and clean it.

if the red warning light (high temperature) keeps lighting, there is a cable defect somewhere that pulls this cable to ground.

No.

No what?

Do you mean 'No, the STOP light being lit will not mean an MOT failure' or 'No' to something else? :)
