S16 Exhaust Manifold

Hello

 

Quick question, dose the standard down pipe from the 1.9 fit the exhaust manifold from an s16?

The flange is a little larger on the S16 manifold but the bolt spacing is the same. I made that combination seal OK on a mates car once so it can definitely be done.

Most can but some you can;t, It depends on the make of D/P I;ve found but I tend to swap the S16 flange over now

As above really, it seems to vary wildly between makes of downpipe. You will need a downpipe fitting kit for an S16 btw, as Jackherer mentioned the flange and consequently the downpipe gasket is slightly bigger.

about 4mm in it at the outer end of the flange, close to the same size IIRC at the small end.
