Subframe Bolt Compatability

Recommended Posts

Paul_13

I discovered my friend only has 2 bolts holding his subframe on, brave fella... Both bolts were loose aswell :D

His mate has a 1.1 205, will the subframe bolts be the same?

Thanks

Yes they should be the same.

When on the Eurotrip we were hooning along the Autobahn and wondering why when lifting off at 150+ mph it would veer violently to the right, turns out that the right hand side of the subframe was missing al its bolts :D

It really felt very controlled (especially considering my suspension setup!), and engine/road noise was quiet enough that the two of us could hold a conversation without shouting.

There is video proof too ;)

EFA ;)

3502 77 SUBFRAME SCREW 10X1,50-60

you could substitute a standard bolt for it if you can;t find any specific ones, but they're easy to find, I cross referenced what they're fitted to with a pug badge....

Number of documents found by vehicle family:

4 document(s) found for 205 ->I AM91

4 document(s) found for 205 I-> AM91

1 document(s) found for 405

2 document(s) found for 309

6 document(s) found for 405 new

9 document(s) found for Partner (M59)

3 document(s) found for Partner (M49)

12 document(s) found for Partner (M59)

on the partner they are the pinch bolts for the torsion bars, in the 405 they bolt the forward rear beam mountings to the shell as well as clamp the ARB.
