Multi Function Double Relay!?

Hey Guys,

I am currently in the midst of converting a 205 to a 2.0 8v turbo (RGX), and have just gotten on to the wiring, which isnt the issue, the problem is that the multi function relay has somehow gotten free of the loom and jumped ship! I just wondered if there are any other models which share the same Relay, Im pretty sure you'll know the one i mean, its on the loom near the ECU and has a black and red plug. Are they the same across the Peugeot range? or will i have to bite the bullet and go visit the main stealer!!? Suggestions please!

there are 2 types i'm pretty sure one is a simple push in with one of those "c"shaped wire clips holding the relay into the connector and the other has a red sideways securing clip on the connector that holds the relay in place.

 

Which one have you got?

Sounds like you have the later Red and Black one, if so they are readily available from the scrappy. I may have a couple spare if needed.

bollocks didn't read it properly sorry, you're right it says you have the balck and red plug doh!!!

 

same relay can be found on a gti6 engine fyi

can be found on many later Peugeot Citroen diesels, not just any petrol engine, so a plentiful supply in scrapyards, about £35 from peugeot/citroen though.

Cheers guys, i will have to have a search around a few scrappies in the next couple of days, am i right in thinking that if it fits the wiring plug, it will be all good, or is there more to it than that? If i don't have any luck i might have buy one of your spares Goliath, either way thanks very much and ill be getting back to you.
