just out of curiosity, how do they make it 'quickshift'? in comparison to the type that adjust the pivot lever thing?

It does indeed, I have a Constella one the sprint car and my 1.6 and they work well and are straight forward to fit.

No reason the Compbrake one won't be any different.

Can these be used along with the normal quickshifts? (the subframe mounted ones)

Yes, but they make the shift ultra short, and subsequently a little notchy then.

I have both of them (lever from TAS and a homemade "L" plate) running at the same time. the lever (above pivot point) is extended by about 3 to 4 inches so it's about cancel out the quick shift ability of the lever. it is nicely close to steering wheel which theoratically reduce the time from leaving the hand off the steering wheel and looking close to those BTCC one. :)

I don't think they can.

When I first fitted one that Miles used to sell on my car I already had the modified L bracket fitted & with Miles' quickshift stick the long rod hit the exhaust & I couldn't get any gears.

Nice enough shift with just the extended stick fitted anyway so I wouldn't want to use both.

I find on alot of '6 conversions if people are using the modified L bracket, that long rod needs an 'S' putting in it to clear the manifold flange, so the stick would be a better solution here.

actually it is not as bad as you think, I do have them both fitted as I said.
