Fuse Box Questions

Hiys guys

I'm just having a play with my wiring looms before i install them back into the CTI

Originally the car had a phase 1 dash and loom

I now have a phase 2 dash and loom to go in.

I was told that the fusebox remained the same throughout all phases.

So i've got my phase 2 dash loom and i've started to plug in a few of the plugs into the fusebox. It seems every plug is keyed differently so i dont think i can plug anything into the worn socket. But thought i would check here first.

But then i hit a snag where i had 2 plugs which could fit the same socket.

This is a full picture of the loom and fuse box

Here is a picture close up. The brown and white plug to the right of the fuse box are the ones in question. The brown plug does not fit into the fuse box. But the white one does. However this socket is already occupied by a white plug from the same loom??! Any ideas guys?

I'm also doing an Mi16 conversion and have found a few guides on here. I have a mi16 loom and ECU. Do i use any of the old 8v engine loom or is it all the mi16 loom?

I know i need to splice some wires with a brown plug. Is the brown plug to the left the brown plug in question?

Thanks guys
