Shell Diffrence's Gti, Jr's Etc

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I've finally got round to start thinking about making my own 205 from scratch. (high BHp's)

I've been offerd a low milage 205 Jr with no rust in mint condition for beer money.

Is there any major problems using a lower spec (Than GTi) shell for the build??

Is the GTi shell reinforced in places where the Jr is not?

Or do you think it would be better to just start with a GTi shell??

I plan to do a compleate build, strip everything off compleatly and buy new.

Cheers,

Neil

Different rear arches, and dependant on year then may be different engine mounts etc.

There's probably a few topics covering it already!

Basically the same, Late car's all should have the engine mounts in the right place, only early car's had different ones for the XY and TU engine's, Front brake pipes in a different place and rear arch's but these can just be cut out like the GTi ones and not forgetting the front wing's for the holes again for the arch trim
