Gear Selecter

Iv just put a 2lt 8v turbo lump in my 205 i think it came from a 406 but dont know iv noticed that the gear selecter rods hit the flange on the turbo does anyone know how to fix this prob i can get 1 3 5 but carnt get 2 or 4 its the long linkage (top one) and can i use a normal 205 throttle cable?

i had to put a bend in the L bracket
