Mi16 Gearbox Diff Cover

Quick question

im missing a diff cover on my mi16 box (1905cc engine'd box) can i just get a cover from a GTi box?

Really the cover is matched to the casing. You could try another one any may get away with it, but be prepared for it to leak like a sieve due to mismatch.

I replaced a diff housing with one from another box for a member on here who couldn't get his diff seals to work due to damage on the old casing. I was worried it wouldn't seal as Tom says but in the end it was fine.
