Filter Cleaning Kits

I have green cotton cone filter on my 309 and it’s mank.

 

Are the cleaning kits they sell that effective? Or am I better off just replacing with a new filter?

yes they are effective, main thing that the kit includes though is the special oil, I wouldn't just bin it because its dirty, that's part of the reason you buy them :)
