Gti6 Lambda

I need a Lamda for my GTI6 engine and have been looking at the Euro Car Parts site. They only list one for the GTI6 priced at 78.42, they also list the same one for the XSI and Roadster - NGK.

Higher up the page there is a Bosch one listed for the XSI @ £34.73? Could I use that one as the NGK one is seemingly suitable for both the XSI and GTI6?

Does that make sense?

Cheers

John.

I would go for a Bosch one if possible, they do last far longer than aftermarket replacements.

earlier SAXO VTS and 106 GTi use suitable ones too, the main differences you'll find between the many different part numbers is the wattage of the heating element and the length of the fly leads, if you chekc the Bosch ECAT you'll find which ones are suitable :)

Thanks both. I tried for the NGK £37.67+VAT and its not in stock untill next week!!

I've tried to use the Bosch site and it is continually refreashing? and says "Benutzersitzung ist nicht mehr aktiv..." I did select the UK site!?

I may have to bite the bullet and get the £80 one from Euro Car parts.... :)

Yeah, its just finding one in stock today/or delivery tomorrow. :) And I'm sick of being told my motor factors "Cant do a thing without the registration number".

I think I've just found one though in Porth ( my home town!!) I'm going to leave work early to get it! Hurray!

If you need a reg number find one of the donor car you need.

In fact T98UHR was my old Xsara VTS, G533PBU was my old 405 Mi16 1.9, feel free to use those.

There's going to be a hell of a lot of confusion when they find all their customers have the same car. :):P
