is the ecu mounted on the left side of the car in rhd cars?

where does the loom go trough?

 

if the loom goes on the left side, that should mean the rhd-cars have longer looms than the lhd ones?

Its mounted in the same place as yours on the right hand side.

I don't have a photo but I'm sure someone else will have one... Basically it is in the same place as a LHD car but the steering column and dashboard plastics are different.

 

The fusebox is on the left side in the glove compartment.

There is no difference between the looms. I have a lhd pug with a rhd wiring loom on it
