Mi16 Exhaust

I´ve been trying to fit my 205 exhaust to my mi 16 manifold.

 

It will not seal!

 

Will a 405 mi 16 exhaust align better and be easier to get to seal? Are the angle of the exhaust from a 405 be different compared to a 205?

 

Was thinking of cutting the front part(don´t know the exact word for that part of the exhaust) of the 205 exhaust off and replace it with a mi16 front part. The rest of my existing exhaust i custom 2.5"

Do you have the engine tilted or an angled exhaust manifold?

 

The Mi16 sitting on the standard mounts with standard exhaust manifold will not mate with the 205 exhaust.
