Gti6 Chucking Oil Out Of Throttle Bodies

Recommended Posts

jimmer

On the 3rd stage of the three counties rally yesterday my 205 gti6 started to chuck a brown oily fluid out of the trottle bodies/air box. This happened 1.5 miles after we became airbourne after hitting a rock or something on the edge of the stage, the impact was so bad that it took the sump guard clean off. The oil pressure was fine so we carried on until we came to a halt when the engine stopped and wouldn't re-start. Any idea's where i need to look first or what the problem could be? No signs of any metal or alloy coming out of the inlet.

Any help much appreciated

James

bit odd that the oil would be coming out of the throttle body because of a valve issue.

The oil would have been vapour from the camcovers (assuming you use the original setup) bit worrying what the metal is though.
