Where To Get Rear Mounts From?

Recommended Posts

Bassman

Hi,

Having finally got my beam apart and then merrily burnt out the front flexible joints, I then went to Peugeot to get new mounts, but was a little put off by the price.

Having looked around at my local motor-factors, GSF etc, I can't seem to find any other suppliers.

BakerBm has GrpN rubber mounts for a reasonable price, but no front fleixble joints and I don't want to go to GrpA solid mounts as I am re-building my beam to get it back up to standard height and a more compliant ride in my old age. (30)

Any suggestions as to where else to buy mounts and flexible joints from on a budget, or should I cough up and buy Pug bits and hide them from the wife?

Thanks

Rob

I'd imagine Peugeot parts are better priced than you think....

Stew from BakerBM is selling me a pair of GrpN rubber mounts and 4 Acetal joints and it will be a fair bit less than Peugeot. A little stiffer than I wanted but a good compromise between the two.

Can't wait to get it all painted up and back together now!

Thanks

Rob
