1.9 8v Top Rad Hose

Converting my 309 1.9 8v gti from oil/water heat exchanger to oil air (oil cooler). So my question is would a 205 gti top rad hose fit (long enough etc) and what is the part number please? Thanks.

not sure if the 205 hose would fit, it does have a different part number on the 309 for a plain one, though it is marked NFP

why not use the original one for the 309?

 

309 is straight, 205 is 90° at the cooler.

nope, i interpreted the post as if he wants a hose without the 2 connectors for the oil/watercooler and wanted to use one from a gti (that has this 2 also)

 

134380 is the partnumber of the original 309 hose without oilcooler outlets.

there are also xu9 engines with this hose.

 

they have mechanical gearboxes: xu9j1, xu9m

 

the xu9jaz/j4 or automatic cars have the oil cooler outlets in the hose, the others don't

every UK XU9ja has that heat exchanger takeoff
