Alriight people need some advice please

 

Gearbox has gone on my old 406. got the old one off due to the fact that the relaese bearing is fecked.

 

Went to the breakers to get another one, undone all the bolts and its not hanging off but cannot get it past the release bearing.

 

Someone has told me you need to remove the clutch arm from the gearbox and to knock a bin out to remove it. Ive seen these pins on 205 boxes but this one is not like that. it looks to have to be pulled out. It has a spring coiled round it. I have removed the spring and have tried mole grips on it but it will not budge.

 

any ideas if you understand what i mean??

yep, just keep pulling on that pin.

If the pins stuck just bend the arm up
