Baker Bm Gear Linkage

im strugling to fit these, old ones came off fine the the ones are being stubem and cannot push on, does any one have any hints

If they are anything like the Constella ones, they have a pin which you have to remove from the ball joint cup on the rods, push on, refit clip.
