The rear screen is bonded, and a total pain in the arse to remove in my experience. The front screen is easier, but its best to have someone to lend a hand.

Is it worth putting a small bead of silicone around the inside of the seal on refitting?

Anyone know the part number for a new front windscreen seal?

Don't think so, the windscreen seals aren't known for leaking (unless i've just been lucky) and it will just make future removal a pain.
