Tilting The Radiator

Hi Guys,

 

How do I tilt the radiator in my 205 in order to make space for webers on the mi 16 engine?

You don't necessarily have to tilt the radiator, although you can. Lowering it works too but you need to make some brackets.

 

You can get away with cutting some of the cowling (plastic) around the radiator down in some installs. You can take about 10-15mm away if I recall; but I'm not sure that'll be enough for your carbs.

 

You may have to consider relocating the rad lower I think, but it depends on how far the carbs plus filter(s) sit forward. I personally don't think tilting will be enough.

Thats how i did mine also but i also bent the brackets back over to tilt the radiator fowards.
