Weird *lotus* Bike-carb+single-throttle Arrangement For Mi

there is nothing really specific in the ebay-add-text, just that it will possibly add up to around 210 bhp on standard bottom end.

 

Has 8 injectors - 4 normal to go with the single throttle and 4 additionally to go with the EXTRA 4 Throttlebodies and the additional piggy-pack MF2 ECU.

 

Ebay no. is 290318976434 but it´s already ended. Was on for three times due to "timewasters"

 

They also said it was calculated for turbo application but could be run N/A also.

 

I think this is one really weird piece of art.

Wow someone got screwed.... I cant even see the idea with this thing? Why put a single throttle body on if you have 4 throttle bodies?

This HAS to be a wind up. The pic seems to have bits of an ACAV on (the S16 variable inlet tract oojimiflick - the black bellow thing), so I'm wondering if this is an attempt to blend ITBs with variable inlet technology?

 

On the other hand it could just be a rip off. :)

Now my mind's going nuts on this contraption. I'm now wondering if there is some (possibly sound) reasoning to this device. What if the theory is, that for normal driving it makes use of the single TB and mini plenum. This way it perhaps gets to use the ICV in the cold, when ITBs can be somewhat unhappy for a bit until warm.

 

Then, based on RPM and TPS, the second set of injectors come into play via the ITBs giving the added advantage of extra fuel and air, and the ITB tracts are opened via the transplanted ACAV actuator.

 

I'm quite intrigued by this, well aware that it could also be loads of bits Sellotaped togther to either rip someone off or start a bonkers conversation on a forum and make me talk even more sh1te!

Hello Peugeot Freaks, now to the 3!!! times because of Spassbietern I adjust things here and it MUST now loose will!!

 

Also:

here a singular piece stands starting from 1 euro!!! to the Ersteigern, a Unikat, originates from the house “Lotus” and became on order of engineers companies Lotus.

It concerns a fuel injection system, geeignite for all Peugeot Mi16 engines, also with turbocharger, for a loaded engine was actually thought and computed. Functioned in addition, perfectly with sucking in engines. The plant is not forget “Fire and” - things, an extra controller for control of extra injectors - MF2 participates also, but little time and patience for adaptation need it already. But - as said, it is a Unikat, a unique piece and needs a little time and expenditure, which is well recompensed however, according to our experience.

 

This plant replaces from Peugeot, fits completely exactly to the place of intake manifold. How is to be seen in the photos, there are altogether 8 injectors, 4 normal yellow and 4 red, which come only to that opening of 4 extra butterfly valves into the play. The series 4 injectors are attached on series plugs. The special injectors - for you need an extra controller, best fit from MF2-System and participate also, in the last photo are shown, thus can everything be adjusted relatively uncomplicatedly.

 

Now however to that, for which you must make all this.

 

Achievement increase on a Peugeot205 Mi16 WITHOUT turbochargers and WITHOUT exact adjustment (according to Dyno) - of 140 HP - on 210 HP RK fills

6500 1/min like an impact and can a further acceleration as on a rocket, however relatively fast to control be learned. According to statement of our programmer “… give me still 2-3 weeks and things from the start will fly…”, mean it seriously it are WITHOUT turbo WITH adjustment of the controller more for than possible 250 HP…

It was genuine investment in the car and cost us before 3 years about 3000 euro (not the car, only the plant!!!)

We sell this plant only because we transferred now to the engine S16 and the plant here unfortunately does not fit. And change of this piece of noble of Lotus we will not dare, it is already perfect and must remain also in such a way. We answer gladly your questions, the buyer receive from us also a we diagram and a wiring for MF2, which we would have to actually out-find.

 

Since I am not a private salesman - a warranty, no guarantee and no cancelling or exchange. If you with it do not agree - do not offer!!! The Spassbieter is possible for RA for 30% of the obtained price also cordially welcomely, macht's. I, dispatch take over EBay fees - the buyer. OK. Well it certainly looked like one with 01773..... Does explain a few things though.

Yes. It's still a piece of toss LOL. YOu can use an idle control valve with ITBs with a bit of knowledge :huh:

For what you can see in the pictures it’s the lower half of a s16 manifold with pipes (controlled by acav) via filters directly to atmosphere. The upper pipes going to a manifold of some description via a normal throttle body.

 

At a guess it will work until the acav system activates then it will go lean and stall. if you run alpha n and open the lower throttle progressively(something that the item in the picture doesn’t allow) it could work.

 

Very very very badly though

 

That aside a well implemented system with extensive control could see returns, good or bad I don’t know.

 

It’s theoretically possible, but impractical

the seller says he isn't able to use it because he has changed from mi16 to s16 ... afaik the ports are the same in both engines? so this seems to me like a bad lie?
