Intercooler's On Turbotecnics 1.9gti

hi i have a new inter cooler for my car it is made to fit in the gap in the lower part of the bumper on the dimma kit what i whanted to know was how any one else has fitted them made the pipeing ect?

also whanted to know about putting the rad fan behind the rad?

ide post pics of it but i carnt can i?

what i plan on doing is just tidying up my engine bay ime mooving the afm where the ait box was and the filter where the battery is putting the batter in the boot fitting a air feed in one of the moretts and chainging all the turbo piping for s.steel and blue silicone hose with the engine rockercover in red strut brace in red afm ect u get the idea then eventuley an after market ecu red warter hoses ect tidy all the wireing and its curentley having a blue mettal flake respray... ill sort some pics out so u can see what im thinking of doing

to be honest before you do anything i would change your ecu to programmable!! afms and turbos don't go well together!

what do you mean?? i carnt realy do ne thing about the ecu at the moment as dont have the cash for that.

But the outher stuff i allready have so i just wanna get it on.

If you want to mount the fan(s) on the back of the radiator you will need to get a new universal draw-through/suck fan rather than the standard blow-through fans.

This will also free up space in front of the radiator for the intercooler.

yeah ive looked for them gonna order 1 tomrow are there any cars that have them on as standard could take a trip to the scrapy

I have fitted 2 Spal fans behind the radiator. The complete fans at the front removed and placed the intercooler. Piping is going under the front, with some sharp angle piping.(not the best solution...)

Made some holes at the sides to create some space for the piping. The bumper is still in tackt and not cut.

ive managed to get fans off a hyundi coupe there only 7cm deep so nearly as the uiversal fans and they come with cowling that will fit on the 205 with a few mods. i plan on cuttin some holes out for the pipeing as well
