205 Xs Exhaust Manifold

Recommended Posts

Raymondo205

Now i've searched and im still unsure so i thought i'd best ask you clever guys on here whether or not a janspeed 106 xsi exhaust manifold would fit on my 205 xs, if not what performance manifold would.

Here's the link anyway

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if this has been covered before by the way.

Cheers,

Ray

You'd need to do a cut and shut with the downpipe on the standard manifold and that one but otherwise yes it would fit.

Are there any manifolds for the xs that would just fit straight on with no modification?

Cheers,

Ray

The CSC Marmitte 4-2-1 manifold is a bolt on solution. Made in Italy and not stocked by anyone over here.

There have been at least couple of group group buys on the forum lead by Macaroni. I say at least because I've not been about for a while so an extra one could have slipped through!

I've got a CSC manifold, centre box and backbox system that I would be willing to part with. The only part of the system that isn't CSC is the pipe from the centre box to the manifold as perversly they don't make one! I had this section made up in stainless by Infinity Exhausts in Yate.

Let me know if you are interested.

I would be very interested! How much would you want for it?

I had a 106 xsi raceland manifold in my 205 xs. i had to cut it right back so i could fit the part of the exhaust that goes up and over the subframe. Performance wise it does not alter it much, its the design in general thats not great (the up and over subframe bit). Sometimes the holes on the exhaust manifold need to be slightly enlarged, not sure if it was just raceland manifolds that needed this.

Have a look on e bay france and they have Raceland 205 Euro Rallye ones on there which won't need much modification and are about 200 euros plus delivery.

I've got a cut'n'shut 106 Raceland on my 205 (It works fine!) - If I'd have known Raceland actually do a 205 one I would have used that! I think I'll try the Rallye one when mine eventually falls apart. There are a few on French ebay at the moment, use "collecteur 205 rallye" as your seach terms on ebay.fr
