Fog Light Relay Switch

The MOT is just over 24 Hours away and I haven't managed to get Fog Light working using my usual method of cleaning the contact in the bulb holder.

 

 

 

I have checked the Fuse, 5A #10, that's okay.

 

Now I want to test the relay itself, I have a test lamp, which two terminals do I need to bridge to satisfy myself that the Relay is not at fault?

Alternatively, make sure the Headlamps are on when attempting to operate the Fog Light.

by posting my epic fail in here we can have the micky taken together and therefore halving the amount of fail shame..

 

 

i couldnt get my brake lights to work and after much playing around with a multimeter trying to find where the supply stopped it was pointed out by my younger non-driving sister who i was getting to sit there with her foot on the brake pedal that i didnt have the keys in the ignition and would this make a difference.... oh the shame.
