Clutch Cable Grommit

Hi all, I have a small problem with the grommit behind the hook for the pedal that won't pop into place. It is an original peugeot cable. Any ideas?

If its the Be3 cable, they usually pop into place when you start to use the clutch as long as its nearly there already, iirc Be1 is twisted into place.

 

What year car etc?

Thanks for the replies. Its in now, and I didn't even notice. I was expecting to hear or feel it pop in. It must go in quite gently. It is a BE3 cable and cost £23 from Citroen so I was hoping it would work which it does.
