Rev Counter Wiring

Hi, i've got a new rev counter to wire in and i need to know which wire on the TU type coil is the feed to the rev counter. Thanks

hi, it tells you in haynes manual, just use the wiring diagram and follow where it says tachometer back to the coil, all wires are marked with code like A9.

its usally the negitive side of the primary winding, show in the haynes.

Ok slightly differnt question. Theres a blue 4 pin plug going in to the back of the rev counter, where do the wires in that plug go. Thanks
