Guest tecw1979 Posted July 29, 2003 i found one ages ago down the scrappy on what i think was a xantia . it was a 1.9 8v car with hydraulics. very luxurious. had fuel economy stuff on the dash and door open warning lights ect. but... i had a hell of a time making the guages fire up and could never get them accurate. was u just for the speedo? they only go to 127mph the mi16 205 went to over 145! i did the digi dash to an xr3i a while back... such a simple job i couldnt beleive it! took speedo drive from an orion 1.6i ghia. let me know if u get it working correctly. Guest tecw1979 Posted July 29, 2003 u need to find a car that has a fuel economy / digi speedo. ull find the unit btween the gbox and cable where it enters box. (assumin it still uses a cable for the speedo in car, digi drive may just b for ecomamy reading). also ratios may not b correct. alternativly... something daft to think abt... could u fit a rts lsd box to the mi16? mayby making an adapter plate? i have three of these boxes and there r many orion speedo senders in the scrappy neer me!! but would the cost b worth it when u can spend around 1400 on an all singing all dancing digi dash with more readings than a nasa aircraft and the looms and sensors with it???!
