Thread Size , Gti6 Oil Temp Sender?

Hi all, does anyone know the thread size for the oil temp sender in the front of the sump on a GTi6 engine please?

I'm sure there's 2 sizes like the sump plugs, mind the larger size is rare

Parts data only lists M14x1.25

I drilled and tapped a blank hole on an XU7 sump last week. Definitely M14x1.25. I should have made it M16x1.5 however, the same as XU9. I later discovered the sensors are electrically different, once in the car and full of oil etc.
