Hi all,can someone tell me how many different types of mi 16 engine there are,and what differs between them?I'm getting mixed info on power outputs, block and head material, and cc's!I'd love some clarification please.I had been told that the 16valve head would fit on the 1.9 8valve block,is this also true?Cheers,Mike

Not quite the same but 1.6 Mi16

It's worth trawling through the old XU modifications sub-forum as I'm sure it's been covered.

There is also the GTi6 eninge from the 306 GTi6 and the Xsara VTS, and the 1.7 16v from the 306, ZX and Xantia; I think Sandy made quite an impressive engine by putting the GTi6 manifolds on the 1.7 16v
