Fuel Smell

Recommended Posts

mhyphenl

While driving I get a really strong fresh fuel (unburnt) smell inside the car. I've looked at the seals to the tank under the rear seats and replaced the body plugs properly. No fuel seems to be leaking from the tank to the injector rail. the smell comes and goes and always smells stronger inside the car, maybee due to the confined space. Anyone had this and found a solution??

Maybe, or.....Your engine mounts are worn....and when you've replaced the gasket and tightend everything up the movement has cracked your gasket/manifold

Hopefully not though
