Mi16 Weber Wiring Loob Problem....

Recommended Posts

Hi to all, my friend works on 205 mi16 twin weber conversion, but now he has a problem with eletric wiring loom....

here it is:

Hello, i am problem with elektric involved coils on twin carbs weber on engine from peugeot 405 mi16.

Green and red wire leads over black isolation to connector for the ignition module. Of connector for the ignition module leads two wire to coils (red + adn yellow i dont know). greenish-yellow is skeleton. White wire is tachometer signal(112). And last black wire with black isolation on connector is probably from the fuse box.

nvolvement on the reel was one of my attempt :)

My problem is that, that does not spark me.I do not know whether it is wrong or involvement kable me an error.

Module and coils are ok.

looks like your ignition amplifier is missing!

there is usually more connections on a standard coil, I shall try and find the wires that need to be on there.

A quickly through together wiring diagram here - http://www.205gtidrivers.com/articles/e1-carbs1.html

That wiring looks abit rough tbh to start with. Whats with the blobs of solder on the dizzy ? :P

any further info on this as im doing the same to mine and would like to find out which cables go to the coil as iv stripped all un neccasary injection cables out of the loom, and need a little reasurance! am i right in not needing a big power cable from the black block thing, as i have the switched live to the coil and its only the coil that needs power? at the coil i have a 2 reds, yellow both i think are power, 112 tacho to negative and earthed the coil to the body on the negative.

any help much appreciated
