CosKev 16 Posted April 27, 2009 Use this site if you want quality stuff: http://www.rust.co.uk/a-guide-to-rust.cfm Not cheap, but Epoxy Mastic121 is the dogs according to classic car magazines/builders
Pug_101 0 Posted April 29, 2009 I've been very impressed with the anti rust treatments from Bilt Hamber. Like their car cleaning products they do the job and are great value for money, I will be adding their full rust treatment range to the new shop when it opens. Bilt Hamber have a very good reputation in classic car circles.

GLPoomobile 958 Posted April 29, 2009 That link dont work, whats wrong with kurust ? Kurust is a rust treatment, i.e. a product you apply to a rusty area to convert the rust and then paint over (and there are better products for that purpose). I think Davey is asking about products that you apply to a healthy surface to protect it and prevent it from rusting, in which case Kurust is not suitable. If I've misinterpreted the question, Davey can clarify what he means

Last Legend 0 Posted May 2, 2009 Dont overlook Dinitrol, used by Volvo and Boeing.
Tom Fenton 1,536 Posted May 2, 2009 Agreed, Dinitrol is pro quality stuff, and there is a very wide range of different products. Waxoyl is the DIY one-fits-all in comparison, and that is not to say WaxOyl is bad, but Dinitrol is superior IMO.
