How Many Red’s Are There Available For A 205?

As above really, was cherry red the only red available? Did the colour change over the course of production? Is a GTi red the same as a non-GTi red for example.

There is cherry red, another non-metallic red which looks a little like cherry but doesn't fade, and a metallic red used on some of the base models called Pagoda Red or something; plus at least one dark burgondy type of red.

There are some red pannels on ebay from an L plate 5 door, I bet they are the wrong match for my 89 F plate.

From memory there are over 25 different shades of Cherry Red when you look on the old Body Shop paint chart all called Varient's as it saves costs in production if the mix was wrong (At a guess) Thats why some Red's look very nice and others look a nice shade of horrible pink

Nothing, just my bonnet is stone chipped to hell and there is 'red' one on ebay nearish to me.

Nothing ventured nothing gained and all that.

From memory there are over 25 different shades of Cherry Red on the average original red GTI

I think mine a k reg 92 Cti is scarlet red (darker than cherry)

can get you the paint code if you like

 

 

How do you find paint code on a peugeot 205?

it should be printed on or near the strut top unless it has been painted over!
