Great morning! The Pug's insurance is due to run out in a few days time and she's being sorn'd to get the multitude of rust sorted out, so I thought I'd clean her up and take her on a last run out in the country. Took my ageing EOS-D with me and found a great location. Here's a few piccies for you delectation...

Well spotted! Yep, the end of the sill is a little corroded but that's not the worst of it. 205's do tend to hide their rust very well!

I'll probably get flamed for being petty, but...

GeorgeXS (and others), please learn to quote appropriately. Leaving IMG tags in a quote so the pictures are displayed again is just so annoying

I don't like seeing this as well, however i forgot and honestly couldn't be bothered to change it :D

Typically enough it now won't let me edit it! So its staying put.

Your car is looking very nice. Is that the standard positioning for the rear flaps? Or have you fitted them a bit higher?

Don't know to be honest but the fittings appear to be original. Guessing it was a factory option as the mountings look OE.

Here's one of mine, just after a polish.

Wow! Peugeot really was stingy with equipment on that one! You'd think they'd give you some rear wheels at least! :)

not taken many of this one, but gave it a quick wash last week after dragging it out and sorting a few more jobs in it, back on the road when/if the 309 sells.

It's got one of these in it instead of the original RFY...

I do quite like the late ZX, but it's a shame they look like a fat Saxo.

hmm, considering it came out well before the Saxo, I always think of the Saxo as a small rounded poor man's ZX :)

they had the cheek to put the same 16v badge on the Saxo, the one you can now buy from halfords and see on the back of 105 PS escrots :P

mine is an early one, the only visual difference is the front edge of the bonnet/grille arrangement, I prefer the earlier!
