Nice one mat! There is a guy in sweden who has done the same conversion! Sounds like a bit of work is needed to make it fit with the mounts.

I remember reading about your car matt. Interesting build! I'm sure everyone was whining about the sump clearance, but now everyone is doing the V6 conversion it doesnt seem to be that big a deal.........................................

 

 

Plenty of ground clearance for the sump and the car sits low. It does have slightly less clearance than with the standard lump in but will never cause a problem!

Actually I had to laugh when I said the colour is original as there are three different registration numbers etched on the windows, they are:

 

F662 LVR

J62 FNS

E240 DAP

 

None of which match the car!

Yes Mei, you are quite right - not that I bought it from them, but I suppose I should get rid of it at some point

 

Actually ALL the work on it is thanks to forum members as I knew absolutely nothing about 205s until I came on here.

It doesn't mean alot in my experience, sure some are lashed up sh!tters, but a couple of the 4 or 5 that i've had haven't been bad at all tbh, i think it's just the crash repaired etc that get shown the bodge stick.

Actually it wasn't in bad nick when I got it, except for missing and wrong screws (or just a mixture) all over the place and the badly sprayed bonnet with bits of dust and dirt in it for added effect!
