Mi16 Exhaust Manifold Gasket

My manifold is blowing slightly. I seem to remember someone suggested using copper loctite sealant. Should you use a gasket too, or just the sealant. I have never used sealant on an exhaust manifold joint before, just gaskets.

Is it a common problem them blowing. Engine is on proper GpN mounts and is a std manfiold, not rewelded. the shell has been rewelded thou and there's loads of clearance, it's not hitting anything,

Just the sealant is fine. Loctite 5920. the manifolds do commonly blow yes, as they bow slightly fairly commonly i've found. You can skim them flat again if they're pretty bad, or the sealant helps to some extent.
