maximum CO is 3.5% for UK MOT test, but they run best around 1.5%.

pretty sure the figures would be the same for both 1.6 and 1.9.

just checked the test results from last years MOT test, was running a little rich but still passed with a CO level of 3.35%! HC was at 335 PPM, limit is 1200.

prior to adjustment it was at 700 pm and 7.75%!!

My 1.6 was within the limits bit the 1.9 is way out, like I said we played with the arm but no luck, at 2000rpm it was fine but at idle it was1200-1300:(. It's got a slight port polish and the head was skimmed, could that cause a lumpy idle due to valve overlap?

This Swiss are right ares when it comes to emission:(

Just wind the 5mm allen key on the AFM anti clockwise to lean it off, whats your HC at? I've always set mine to between 1.5-2.0CO and always ran spot on.

the co was fine but the hc was 1200 we got it done to 800 and I am allowed 400 or lower. When I did the 1.6 the hc was 249 which was bang on. Basically what I need to know is the peugeot book value, over here you go the manufacteurer and he gives you a little booklet and puts in the values and then every year you get a check up. I have the little booklet with the 1.6 but not 1.9. Does that make sense?
