Rust Under The Windscreen

Recommended Posts

Tom Fenton

I've done probably nearly into the hundreds of screens that way when they are in rubbers, the screwdriver method applies too much force in a concentrated area and can crack the screens, doing it my way you apply a gentle load over a wide area just to push the screen out of the rubber, easy!

My next step would be to cut it out neatly and start making some repair patch's. Although id wait for someone more experienced with bodywork repair to give you a definate.

I'd get down to the breakers, find a 205 without the rust, and chop out most of that panel. then when you get home you can cut small sections with the correct profile for each area, to butt weld in place. TBH with a bit of care you should be able to do a very tidy job.
