Rich_p 23 Posted April 8, 2009 Does anyone have a rough idea of the length of the rear straps on harnesses needed to fit them to the existing rear belt mounting points? (not idealI know but it's until I can afford to have some harness bars fitted to the cage)
Tom Fenton 1,536 Posted April 8, 2009 As long as you order standard harnesses and not the caterham/westfield types then you'll have plenty of length in my experience. However another solution is to drill through the lip at the front of the boot floor which allows the belts to sit at the correct 45 deg angle, and straight back from the seats. If you use some plate to reinforce the area this is plenty good enough.
