Mi16 Coolant Level

Just a bit of a basic one for someone but couldn't find a straight forward answer on the search sorry, cannot find my haynes manual.

1.9 Mi16 engine in a 205 what would be the coolant level and correct ratio from being drained - currently put in 2 litres anti freeze and 3 litres of water, looks like it could easily take more though, is this ratio ok or do i need more coolant/water

Until it's happy.

Bleed the system and re-check a couple of times after it's been up to temp. Good guide is after the fan's cut in and out a couple of times. It'll take lots more than that tbh.

IIRC it's supposed to be something like 5.5 litres, but I'm sure mine took more. The right mixture ratio will be advised on the Antifreeze container, but I think it's usually something like 50:50 mix for winter and for summer you can go down to about 1 part AF to 3 parts water I think.
