Quick Driveshaft Question

Whilst putting my gearbox back in I managed to trap and split the short driveshaft on the inner joint; the tulip (end peice with the splines) has come out but the spider is still intact, is it just a case of slotting it back together and putting on new gaitor clips? I tried reading Haynes but its confusing

Yes, if its the bit im thinking of there should be a circlip holding it on.

Is the hub nut on the 1.9 34mm or 35mm?

they can vary. mine is 35 iirc.
