Map Transfers - Going From Omex 500 To 600

This is a complete newbie question because im err... new on AMEM systems so bear with me. I'm doing research now but I'm eager for answers so asking striaght up.

Ive a Omex 500 which is knackered. But it has a base map for a Mi16 1.9 with throttle bodies on it. I also have a Omex 600 which is brand new. So tonight im making the 600 loom up to match that of the 500 ones, and tomorrow morning I wish to remove the map from the 500 and reinstall it on the 600.

As far as I am aware:

1./ The map will be transferable - if it be on a 500 or 600 is irrelevant?

2./ To get the map off the 500 I go to MAP3000 software, connected to the ECU, then to FILE | EXPORT, click on the map data and save it to "import-export" folder.

3./ So tomorrow if I just plug in the 600, open MAP3000 and then click FILE | EXPORT and click on the saved map data? I just tried all this above now to see if I'd figured it out myself and it asked about calibration data as well... is this literally just that, the saved calibrations from the previous setup. IE Raw throttle position etc and therefore not really necessary as I can just start from scratch with it all tomorrow?

As you can tell im very much NOT in the know here, so help would be appriciated before I make any major alterations to looms or data.

Thanks Mark thats brilliant! :D

Ignore my above post anyway now as well. Actually got hold of the software manuals which have made it a lot easier and yes was a beginners question! :):(
